Foundation
XII was formally founded in January of 2007. We founded it with the idea with the right set of members and the right layout there was no reason we couldn't be a successful gaming group.

History
Some of our individual roots extend back much further than XII formal founding. Most of our players have even been playing side by side for many years and some since as early as 2001. This unity and familiarity enabled us to form the core very quickly. In fact, it was almost overnight from a idea into reality.

Philosophy
None of us were really big on the Top Down idea. Almost every gaming organization out there runs with a hieracrchy, and to tell the truth, we just are not impressed with any of them. With the long history of the initial core members we were able to structure the entire clan around the idea of Self Efficiency. Sure there is a structure, but each one of our members knows they have a say and that their opinions are valued. We have Clan Administrators; those that choose to take on or have historically been involved with certain areas of management. Their individual expertise ensures that group operations are taken care of without worry. When a new need arises, someone simply takes responsibility for it that is qualified. We have managed to to maintain this utopian structure for several years now and with our continued strict recruitment qualifications / process, we see no reason it will ever change.

Certain political and business models applied to our internal rule sets keep everything in line without strict supervision and allows for a great amount of individual freedom over what other similar organizations can offer. The loyalty of our members to each other also provides us with a firm future. The people you know today you probably very well will know over the next decade or two. We view this as rare to an extent and are ever grateful of our position here. All in all, we feel very strongly about our clan.
