CLANS Boycott of CODMW2 - Click for link XII Will not be supporting the retardation of the PC platform simply because of the laziness of the IW / Activision Dev team who has produced what is arguably the most offensive POS Anti-Community Anti-Competitive Anti-Clan pile of crap the gaming world has ever seen in regards to an established franchise.
We as a clan refuse to provide companies that do this with our hard earned money so they can continue to piss in the hand of those who made them what they are today.
Without the Dedicated Server Support we have all come to know as the Status quo, that enabled our communities to even survive effectively - there is no reason to patronise a franchise most of us have grown up with any longer.
We have signed onto the large amount of clans who feel that a boycott is the only way to get the point across to the Game Companies these days and would like to take this moment to encourage others to not provide support to those who would like to see PC Gaming as we know it end.
If you like playing on Clan servers, where the rules and the atmosphere are to your personal like: and where if you don't like it you can easily find an alternative. If you like playing with the same group of Gamers as a matter of habit and preference. If you like the ability to find a game running 24/7 that is close to you physically and will welcome your patronage: Then stand with the Leagues, Ladders and Clans as a group to let IW and Activision know just what you think of their MW2 ported console to PC blunder.
The only thing companies like this understand is damage in the wallet. Hurt them there and they won't likely make the same mistake again.
So do your part: Sign onto the thread to let them know your groups intentions if you are a Clan and/or just give a little mention to show your support to the Clans if you are one of the many Public gamers that enjoy the resources we as clan communities provide. If you would like some more information on the events that brought us to this point and the impact this has on the FPS community at large visit the link below. http://www.modernwarfare2-pc.com/no.html |
